Iron Man – Had Iron Man not had such a stellar cast and loose director, this surely would have fallen by the wayside along with Ghost Rider and Daredevil. But Robert Downey Jr. is too charming and sarcastic, Gwenyth Paltrow is too cheery and Terrence Howard is too fun to do anything but enjoy the funnest movie of the summer. Yes, it gets sloppy when the big fight scene arrives at the final act, but all can be forgiven for the sheer energy and entertainment that preceded it.
